Lost Cards! Due to the increasing cost of replacement for a high number of lost cards we have been forced to introduce a £5 replacement fee. Please look after those membership cards!!

There continue to be instances where there is no record of RBL membership for some Club members. There can be legitimate reasons for this, but we must remind all members that membership of the RBL is mandatory if you are to be a Club member. Where we are unable to confirm membership we will be asking members to show their RBL “LIVE ON” membership cards. Club membership may be suspended if members cannot produce it so please carry it with you.

MEMBERSHIP RENEWALS AND NEW CARDS

If you have recently renewed your membership and have a card that is past its expiry date, you may collect your new one from the bar. You MUST return your expired card in exchange for the new one.

As well as continuing to offer member discounts at the bar, the new membership cards with the beach and cliffs scene will also now open the door by simply holding the card near to the white reader next to the swipe reader. You do not have to remove the card from your wallet.

 

RENEWAL REMINDERS

We are currently trialling new software that should automatically send renewal reminders by email or generate them by letter if we have no email address . While we believe this is now working as expected, we apologise should there be any glitches that cause duplicate reminders or other problems. We also urge that you check the expiry date on your cards in case you are inadvertently missed by the system - for instance where we hold an invalid email address.

PARKING CHARGE NOTICES

We are are introducing Flashpark in order to tackle the issue of  unauthorised use of our car park.

PARKING CONTROLS

You may have noticed that we are in the process of introducing Flashpark in an attempt to address the problems that we frequently encounter when members wishing to use the Club are unable to find a space due to unauthorised parking by others. The scheme can result in the issue of a £100 parking charge notice if offenders ignore the posted warnings.

Flashpark is a Car Par Management company and member of the British Parking Association which gives it the right to issue and pursue parking charge notices but the Club receives no revenue from any collected charges. This action is being taken purely for the benefit of our members.

Please do remember that the car park is there for the convenience of members when they are using the Club.
