Welcome to the Broadstone Royal British Legion Club, a large and prestigious venue situated in the heart of Broadstone, Dorset. We are open 7 days a week offering friendly, welcoming surroundings with a wide range of facilities and regular entertainment.
Whilst affiliated to, and strong supporters of, the Royal British Legion (RBL) we operate as an independent business with the primary goal of providing a comfortable social environment where our members and their guests may enjoy a competitively priced bar, restaurant, entertainment and much more.
Our bar, lounge and restaurant recently underwent an extensive refurbishment that never fails to impress first time visitors, keeps our long term members coming back and continues to attract new members throughout the year. As a result we are one of the largest RBL Clubs in the South. In 2017 we were runners up for the Hamilton Cup for best managed RBL Club in the country, and continue to maintain appropriately high standards.
You don’t have to be, or have been, a serving member of the Armed Forces to join our Club, so why not come along and see for yourself what we have to offer.
All the available tickets were taken by 12th April. However, it has come to our attention that some members were asking others who they knew were not planning to attend to obtain extra tickets for use by additional guests. The terms of issue were two tickets per member on the understanding that the member and one guest would attend, so obtaining tickets for use by others is not acceptable.
Tickets will be checked against membership numbers when entering on the evening and people with ticket numbers that do not correspond to the member number on our list (which was compiled as tickets were allocated) will not be admitted. Please will members therefore ensure that you have your membership card with you on the night and, if bringing a guest, ensure that the guest is with you when you arrive.
In fairness to members who genuinely wish to attend please will members who have secured tickets in this way, or now know that they will be unable to attend, return them to the bar for re-allocation. As a priority, these will be made available to members who wanted to go but could not get tickets, before any are made available to members who already have them but want to bring extra guests. If you were unable to get your two free tickets, please check at the bar for returns and leave your contact details if there are none available at the time.
We are sorry to have to implement such measures but this is a popular event so please remember that this is a members’ Club and, while we welcome guests, our top priority is to ensure fairness to our members.
